New House Farm is a 450 acre mixed,
family run organic farm,
based in Cambridge, producing organic
salt-marsh Lamb and Beef.
|
|
|
|
The animals are kept
at very low stocking rates,
which means there are
very few disease problems and
each animal has plenty of room in
which to roam.
|
|
The Lambs are all
fattened on grass and receive no extra feeding whatsoever.
This is the traditional
method of rearing Lambs.
Salt marsh lamb has a very distinctive
taste, once tasted never forgotten!

Beef Calves are over
wintered on silage and hay which is all produced on the farm.
They are fattened
on grass, again the traditional method.
|
|
Our meat is processed
in the closest organic abattoir, and we feel that this
dramatically reduces the
amount of food miles that it takes to get
the product to your plate.

This is reflected in
the finished product
not traveling thousands of miles up and
down the country
or even from another country.

We can deliver any
size order direct to your door by refrigerated van. We can also arrange
national delivery.

are also open to the public Fridays between 2pm and 6pm &
Saturdays mornings from 9am - 1pm.
We also attend Gloucester
farmers market on Fridays,
where you can pick up your confirmed order made through this
website, or by telephone.
